CHICAGO — A 65-year-old man was wounded in a West Pullman shooting Sunday night, according to police.

The man was standing in the backyard of a home in the 12100 block of South Wentworth Avenue at 9:40 p.m. when a man in the alley opened fire, said Officer Ana Pacheco, Chicago Police spokesman.

He was struck in his lower back and right arm and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where his condition was not released but police described the man as "stable."

No arrests have been made, Pacheco said.
