BRIDGEPORT — The neighborhood has plenty of greasy spoon diners for all your breakfast and lunch needs.

But there's a new player in town serving up a robust brunch menu worth checking out.

Since its quiet opening at 3051 S. Archer Ave. last year,  JSmile 51 has been serving up South Side favorites like huevos rancheros, crepes and your basic two-eggs-with-bacon plate.

Take a look at the menu all-stars:

Breakfast Burrito

This thing comes with chicken, egg, black beans, corn, cheddar and pico de gallo. Sides include fruit and salad or breakfast potato.

Croissant Sandwich

This classic comes with egg, bacon, mushroom, cheddar and a side of fruit and salad or potatoes.

Huevos Rancheros

It's difficult to go wrong with two tortillas topped with seasoned black beans, sausage and corn and two eggs (sunny side up) with tomatillo salsa and pico de gallo.

Blueberry Stuffed French Toast

This breakfast dessert comes stuffed with cream cheese and blueberry with a lemon sauce drizzle. With a side of bacon, this one will send you to a happy place.

Trio of French Crepes

You get a choice of three:

• Chicken, mushroom, onion and garlic

• Spinach tomato and goat cheese

• Pepper, provolone and sausage

• Caramel apple

Mushroom Tart

Here's a breakfast treat that's rare in Bridgeport: Mushroom and caramelized onion topped with sun dried tomatoes and parmesan cheese.

Scrambler

Here's a basic dish for a mid-day boost. Three eggs scrambled with your choice of three ingredients: bacon, peppers, tomato, onion, mushroom, spinach, cheddar, goat cheese, provolone.

Korean Beef Taco

This is what you might call a "little bite." That means you can eat many of them.
