Woman Sexually Assaulted in Logan Square Laundry Room

LOGAN SQUARE — A 50-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in Logan Square earlier this week, according to police.

The victim was discovered in the laundry room of an apartment in the 2600 block of N. Spaulding Ave. bleeding from the face, according to police.

The sexual assault occurred about 11:25 a.m. Monday.

The victim was taken to Illinois Masonic in serious condition, according to the Chicago Police Department's Office of News Affairs.

No one was in custody as of Friday afternoon, according to police.
