CHICAGO — Police are seeking help in finding a man they say robbed people at gunpoint in a Beverly restaurant.
At 6:30 p.m. April 13, the man used a gun to rob at least one person at a restaurant in the 10100 block of South Western Avenue, according to a Chicago Police community alert.
The victim's stolen credit cards were later used at a store in the 10900 block of South Doty Avenue, and the man was seen leaving the store with a woman.
The thief is a black man ages 25-35 who is 5-foot-8 or 5-foot-9 and weighs 175-185 pounds, police said. He has braids and was wearing a white T-shirt and baggy blue jeans. The man should be considered armed and dangerous, police said.
