ROGERS PARK — A Loyola University student was robbed at gunpoint while walking near campus Tuesday afternoon, according to a crime alert from the school's campus safety department.

Police said around 2 p.m. Tuesday the student was walking in the 1300 block of West North Shore Avenue when three men walked up to him, showed a gun and demanded he hand over his belongings.

The student wasn't injured during the robbery, according to police.

The men then got into a black car and drove away, police said.

No further description was available.
