Employee Alex Cuzzo said she gave the group a bag, and they immediately went downstairs to the lingerie and bachelorette items.

Cuzzo said she felt nervous and began washing front windows to guard the store's entrance. Downstairs, a girl from the group began to ask another employee questions. At the same time, surveillance video shows people grabbing items and putting them into bags.

Surveillance video shows the group shoplifting at Taboo Tabou, 843 W. Belmont Ave.

Cuzzo and the other employee asked the group to put the merchandise back on the counter as the group tried to leave, but they pushed past her and ran out, Cuzzo said.

Later, the employees and store owner saw the group walking down Belmont Avenue and ran after them. Police stopped the group and took three people into custody about 8:30 p.m. Jan. 31.
