Chicago Lawn Robberies Prompt Police Warning

CHICAGO LAWN — Police have issued a warning to Chicago Lawn residents after a series of armed robberies in the neighborhood in the past week.

In each incident, police said, two men walked up to someone, pulled out guns and robbed them.

The robberies were reported at:

• 12:45 a.m. April 20 in the 6200 block of South St. Louis Avenue

• 12:01 a.m. Sunday in the 2800 block of West 63rd Street

• 10:10 a.m. Sunday in the 3000 block of West 63rd Street

Anyone with information on the suspects or the robberies is asked to call detectives at 312-747-8382.
