CHICAGO — A 53-year-old man was shot and killed in Austin, police said.
At 8:15 p.m. April 21, Kenneth Allen was in the 1600 block of North Luna Avenue when he heard shots and felt pain, police said. Allen, who had been shot in his abdomen, was brought to Stroger Hospital in critical condition.
Allen, of the 1000 block of North Merrimac, was pronounced dead at 6:17 a.m. April 22 at the hospital, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office records.
