NORTH LAWNDALE— A man was found dead in a car by Douglas Park on Sunday, police said.
At 12:25 a.m., police found a 24-year-old man in a car in the 3200 block of West Douglas Boulevard who was dead, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
The man, who was shot in the head, was later identified as Darrell Wilson of the 0-100 block of South Central Avenue by the Cook County Medical Examiner's Officer, was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:48 a.m.
The man was a documented gang member, police said.
No one is in custody, Sedevic said.
