WICKER PARK — A much-hyped "Saved by the Bell"-inspired pop-up diner has extended its run in Wicker Park after 4,500 reservations were made in just 15 minutes.

The diner's website, savedbythemax.com, opened reservations at 11 a.m. Friday. The entire month of June has sold out, with reservations for July and August now available. Organizers decided to keep the diner open until Aug. 31 to meet demand.

Located at 1941 W. North Ave., the 80-seat diner does not open until June 1.

Tickets are $35 and include appetizer, entree and dessert. Drinks are not included.

For those who were not able to book a reservation, the diner is accepting walk-ins for brunch and late night service for all three months on a first-come basis, a spokesman said.

The full $35 must be paid in advance.  The diner will also offer a la carte ordering for brunch and late night walk-ins.
