
ENGLEWOOD — A movie screening for free Friday night aims to show that those living in disadvantaged communities on the South Side are ordinary people living in extraordinary circumstances.
"A New Portrait: Englewood," a film by Cyrus Dowlatshahi and Amanda Williams, will be featured starting at 5 p.m. on the Illinois Institute of Technology's campus in the Kemper Room of the Paul V. Galvin Library, 33 W. 33rd St.
The screening will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the McCormick Student Center, with a question-and-answer session at 8 p.m.
