BRIDGEPORT — The neighborhood’s annual Earth Day cleanup is set for Saturday.
Sponsored by Friends of the Parks, the event starts at 9 a.m. Saturday at McGuane Park, 2901 S. Poplar.
The cleanup will begin at McGuane Park, move to Palmisano Park and then spread through the neighborhood’s major streets.
Tools and gloves will be provided, but volunteers are encouraged to bring their own.
