CHICAGO — Police have launched a homicide investigation after finding a 42-year-old woman dead in a Back of the Yards alley early Friday.
The woman was found unresponsive in the 2000 block of West 51st Street at 1:30 a.m. Friday, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman. She appears to have suffered blunt-force trauma, Pacheco said.
A homicide investigation has been opened, and no arrests have been made, Pacheco said.
