JEFFERSON PARK — Police warned Jefferson Park, Portage Park and Albany Park residents Thursday about a spate of carjackings on the Far Northwest Side.
In each crime, the victims' cars were taken at gunpoint, police said.
The incidents happened in the:
• 3600 block of west Argyle Street near Central Park Avenue at 3:35 a.m. Monday
• 5900 block of west Higgins Avenue near Marmora Avenue at 6 p.m. Monday
• 5600 block of west Waveland Avenue near Central Avenue at 9:18 p.m. Wednesday.
