EDGEBROOK — Destination Devon — a festival designed to bring more shoppers to downtown Edgebrook — will return for a second year, organizers said.

The festival is being organized by Everyday Edgebrook, a group that broke away from the Edgebrook Chamber of Commerce last year in an effort to breathe new life into the area around Devon and Central avenues.

The festival, which will take over Devon Avenue between Kinzua and Minnehaha avenues from 1-5 p.m. May 21, will feature music, local businesses and activities for children, organizers said.

Everyday Edgebrook is working to bring more foot traffic to the businesses near Devon and Central avenues, and to fill empty storefronts, group leaders said.

The festival will end with a celebration at Moher Public House at 5310 W. Devon Ave. starting at 5 p.m. Music, food and drink specials will be available for those in attendance, organizers said.
