ARMOUR SQUARE— A man was wounded in a shooting in Armour Square on Thursday, police said.

At 5 p.m., the 20-year-old was sitting in the back seat of a car in the 200 block of West 31st Street when someone in a tan-colored van pulled up and shot at him, said Officer Michelle Tannehill, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man suffered a graze wound in his back, Tannehill said.

The man is a documented gang member, police said.

No one is in custody for the shooting, Tannehill said.
