CHICAGO — Two men were injured in a shooting in West Englewood on Wednesday afternoon, police said.

At about 3 p.m., the two men, who are 20 years old, were in the 5600 block of South Wolcott Avenue when they were shot, said Officer Michelle Tannehill, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

One of the men was hit in his jaw and left leg, while the other was shot in his left thigh. They were taken to Stroger Hospital. Their condition was not released but they were listed as "stable," Tannehill said.

The men are documented gang members, police said.

No one was in custody in the shooting.
