LAKEVIEW — Craving some owl-shaped foie gras? You're out of luck — for now, at least.
Bunny, the microbakery at 2928 N. Broadway, closed temporarily Wednesday. Owner Iliana Regan posted the notice on her Twitter account, and an email went out alerting customers.
"Closed for a bit," the email read. "If we see that there will be more of a delay, which might effect any future dinner or pop-up event we will contact you immediately. Thank you."
A tweet from Bunny attributed the closure to repair work.
Hi Friends, Bunny, breakfast and lunch hours, will be closed for a little bit while we try to make some repairs.

A pop-up event under Regan's WunderPOP format will still take place as scheduled Friday. Chef Justin Behlke will offer a Thurk 2.0 tasting menu honoring his past project, Underground Thurk. The $140-per-person tasting starts at 7 p.m., and customers can bring their own beverages.
The next WunderPOP event, a pasta-making class, is set for April 29.
Regan did not immediately respond to a request for more information concerning the closure.
Bunny's January opening was highly anticipated as the follow-up to Regan's North Center restaurant, Elizabeth. Half-bakery, half-restaurant, Bunny's bread-focused dishes have been raved over in the four months since its opening.
Earlier this month, Food & Wine named Regan one of the best new chefs of 2016.
