CHICAGO — A 15-year-old boy showed up at a South Side hospital Wednesday after being shot in Park Manor the night before, according to police.

The boy walked into Comer Children's Hospital Wednesday afternoon, said Officer Kevin Quaid, Chicago Police spokesman.

He had been shot at 9 p.m. Tuesday in the 7800 block of South King Drive, Quaid said. The boy was walking through a parking lot in the block when someone walked up and opened fire, Quaid said.

He was shot in his abdomen and went Wednesday to the hospital, Quaid said. He is listed in stable condition, though police could not detail the extent of his injuries.
