NORTH LAWNDALE— Two men were wounded in a North Lawndale shooting Monday night, police said.

At 7:07 p.m., two men, ages 36 and 31, were sitting on a porch in the 1900 block of South Troy Street when someone walked up and shot them, said Officer Nicole Trainor, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The 36-year-old was shot in his left leg and taken to Stroger Hospital where his condition was stabilized, Trainor said. The 31-year-old man was shot in his left thigh and taken to Stroger in critical condition, Trainor said.

The two men are documented gang members, police said.

No one is in custody for the shootings, Trainor said.
