The victims, all men, were at a party inside a garage in the 7400 block of South Eggleston, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman. A man was not allowed to come in, and at 11:20 p.m. he returned and fired shots at the group.

A 32-year-old man was shot in his chest and was pronounced dead at the scene, Sedevic said. He was identified as Pierre Payne, of the 1900 block of East 71st Street, in Cook County Medical Examiner's records. He was pronounced dead at 11:38 p.m.

Another man was shot in his torso and was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, Sedevic said. He was later pronounced dead. He was identified as Andrew Henry Lyndell Haynes, 34, of the 8500 block of South Laflin Street, in Cook County Medical Examiner's records. He was pronounced dead at 2:11 a.m.

A 45-year-old man was shot in his left hip and was taken to Stroger Hospital. His condition was not released but he was listed as "stable," Sedevic said.
