CHICAGO — A 22-year-old man was shot in North Lawndale on Wednesday afternoon, police said.
At 2:03 p.m., the man was in the 1500 block of South Drake Avenue walking home when a man in a black jacket walked up to him and opened fire, said Officer Kevin Quaid, a Chicago Police spokesman.
The man was hit in his right arm and right hand, Quaid said. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition.
No one was in custody.
