CHICAGO — An 18-year-old man was shot in Chatham Wednesday afternoon, according to police.
The man was walking on the sidewalk in the 700 block of East 89th Street at 4:39 p.m. when a man inside a car that was in a nearby alley opened fire, said Officer Kevin Quaid, Chicago Police spokesman.
He was struck in his left knee and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in good condition, Quaid said.
No arrests have been made.
