MORGAN PARK — The Three Little Pigs will blow into the Beverly Arts Center for a series of children's performances from April 27-Aug. 12.

The musical performances come courtesy of the Chicago Kids Co's Theatre for Children program. In this version of the classic tale, three sister piggies set out to build their own houses.

Roxanne, the rock and roll pig, builds her house out of sticks. Petunia, the pretty pig, builds her house out of straw. And Babe, the smart, sensible pig, builds her house out of bricks. All come to be tested by the Big Bad Wolf.

The hour-long shows all feature ample audience participation. The performances are geared toward children 2-8 years old and are performed without an intermission. Weekday shows are performed at 10:30 a.m.

The show will also be performed at 1 p.m. May 14 at the arts center at 2407 W. 111th St. in Morgan Park. Tickets cost $12 or $8 each for groups of 20 or more.  There is no charge for children younger than 2.
