EDISON PARK — Volunteers are needed to help spruce up six locations in the 41st Ward as part of a citywide cleanup event.
Ald. Anthony Napolitano (41st) will host cleanup events at:
• Oriole Park and Olympia Park with the Oriole Park Baseball Association
• The Edison Park tunnel with students and teachers at Ebinger Elementary School
• The Edison Park Train Station with the Edison Park Community Council
• The Edgebrook Train Station and Triangle Garden with the Edgebrook Community Association
• Grandparents' Park with students and teachers at Dirksen Elementary School
For two decades, city officials and local organizations have organized a spring cleanup day to beautify local communities by cleaning up debris and garbage.
