CHICAGO — A 65-year-old Belmont Cragin man was stabbed to death in a car near his home early Friday, officials said.
At 1:02 a.m., the man, Ramon Ramirez, was found dead in his car in the 5700 block of West Grand Avenue, according to Officer Kevin Quaid, a Chicago Police spokesman, and Cook County Medical Examiner's records.
Ramirez had been stabbed in his leg in a homicide, according to the Medical Examiner's Office, and was pronounced dead at 2:55 a.m. He lived on the same block he was killed.
No one was in custody. Police originally said the man was 67 years old.
