CHICAGO — A shooting outside a Grand Crossing tavern left a man dead early Thursday, police said.

At 2:41 a.m., a 30-year-old man got into an argument with two men while inside a tavern in the 7600 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman. The argument spilled into the street, where the two men took out guns and shot at the victim.

The man was shot in the head and was pronounced dead at the scene, Pacheco said.

He has been identified as Marvin Lee, of the 6100 block of South Michigan Avenue, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
