ANDERSONVILLE — The Andersonville Chamber of Commerce and Andersonville Development Corporation named a new Executive Director this week.

After a three-month search, Kyle Smith will take over the helm of both positions May 9. He takes over the position for Ellen Shepard, who stepped down last month after 16 years at the positions, according to a press release from the organization.

“We believe that Kyle will bring a great deal of knowledge and background to the position. He will help lead the Andersonville community to the next level of excellence and innovation,” said ACC Board Co-President Barbara Janusek.

The Andersonville Chamber of Commerce provides "business support services and advocacy; and engaging in business attraction, long-range planning, and economic development.
