HUMBOLDT PARK — A 28-year-old man was in good condition after being shot on the West Side Monday morning, police said.

Around 7 a.m., the man was standing in the 1300 block of North Rockwell Avenue when he heard "numerous gunshots" and felt pain in his right leg, according to Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man was brought to Mount Sinai Hospital, Sedevic said.

Police said the man is a documented gang member.

No one is in custody, Sedevic said.
