HUMBOLDT PARK — Two people were wounded in a shooting on the West Side early Sunday morning, police said.

Around 1:10 a.m., a 29-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman were sitting on a porch in the 800 block of North Central Park Avenue when someone shot at them from a passing dark-colored sedan, according to Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

Both people were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, Estrada said. Police could not provide their conditions but said they were both "stable."

The man had been shot in both his legs, Estrada said, and the woman was shot in her left thigh.

No one is in custody, Estrada said.
