BRIDGEPORT — How often do you get to hang out with a sloth while checking out paintings at an art gallery?

You’ll get a chance from 5-9 p.m. Saturday at Gallery Provocateur, 1621 N. Kedzie Ave. “Art For The Animals” will feature original art inspired by bats and sloths for auction.

All proceeds go to the Flying Fox Conservation Fund, a Bridgeport-based nonprofit dedicated to protecting fruit bats all over the world.

Show up, and you’ll get a chance to meet a sloth named Steve and a straw-colored fruit bat named Sammy.
