HUMBOLDT PARK — A 26-year-old man was shot Monday evening in the buttocks in Humboldt Park, police said.

Around 7:25 p.m., the man was walking in the 600 block of North Homan Avenue when he heard gunshots and felt pain, according to Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in good condition, Pacheco said.

Police said the man was a documented gang member.

No one is in custody, Pacheco said.
