DOWNTOWN — Cindy's, the popular rooftop lounge overlooking Millennium Park, will soon be open for lunch.

The bar atop the Chicago Athletic Association Hotel, 12 S. Michigan Ave., said Tuesday it will debut new cocktails and lunch service April 5.

Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays, with the menu including Spring Lamb Tartare ($16), Crab and Uni Tartine ($18) and Cornish Game Hen ($22).

The bar is also updating its wine list and cocktail menu, including "mocktails" that drinkers can choose to booze up with a suggested spirit. For example, Cindy's new $8 "Virgin Pillar" with Mallorca Melon Shrub, candied hibiscus, mint, lemon and soda, can be mixed with Bruichladdich Scotch Whiskey and Manzanilla Sherry to be served as "The Pillar of Hercules" ($16).

Cindy's will continue to serve dinner and weekend brunch. Items on the new lunch menu will range from $8 to $30. For more information, visit the bar's website or call 312-792-3502.
