DOWNTOWN — Pink Line trains have stopped running between the Polk station and the Loop, CTA officials announced Tuesday morning.

Trains are being rerouted to the Racine Blue Line Station, where passengers can connect onto trains headed into downtown, according to the announcement.

Officials blamed the service shutdown on "signal problems."
