HUMBOLDT PARK — Seven men were hurt in three shootings within three hours late Saturday, police said.

Around 12:10 a.m. Sunday morning, three men were standing on the sidewalk in the 3900 block of West Thomas Street when they heard gunshots and felt pain, according to Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

One man, 21, was taken to Stroger Hospital with gunshot wounds in his lower abdomen and buttocks, Estrada said.

Another man, 19, was taken to Stroger after being shot in his right leg, Estrada said.

The third man, 24, was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital with a gunshot wound in his right leg, Estrada said.

Police could not provide any of the men's conditions but said they were "stable."

At 10:55 p.m., Estrada said, two men were walking on the sidewalk in the 800 block of North Sacramento Avenue when they heard gunshots and felt pain.

One of the men, 19, was shot in his right shoulder and back, Estrada said. The other man, 27, was shot in his buttocks.

Both men walked into Saint Mary's Hospital, Estrada said, where their conditions stabilized after they were treated.

Police said both men are documented gang members.

Around 9:25 p.m., Estrada said, two men were standing on a front porch in the 900 block of North Karlov Avenue when they heard gunshots and felt pain.

One man, 40, was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition with a gunshot wound in the back of his head, Estrada said.

The other man, 25, was treated on scene for a gunshot wound in his lower left leg, Estrada said.

No one is in custody for any of the shootings, Estrada said.
