EDGEBROOK — A hunt for Easter eggs will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday at Green Park, 6500 N. Algonquin Ave.

Hosted by the Edgebrook Community Association, the hunt will take place regardless of the weather near Tahoma and Algonquin avenues at the playground better known as Choo Choo Park because of the train-shaped play structure, organizers said.

Participants younger than 10 should bring a basket to collect their egg-shaped treasures, organizers said. The Easter Bunny will also be on hand.

Organizers promised plenty of candy-filled eggs and surprises for participants, who typically clear the park in fewer than five minutes.
