JEFFERSON PARK — Two Chicago artists will transform the Ed Paschke Art Center into their very own studios.

In collaboration with the Luminarts Cultural Foundation of the Union League Club Chicago, Jeffrey Michael Austin and Lily Dithrich will exhibit finished works and allow visitors to see their workspace and creative process at the museum, 5415 W. Higgins Ave., through April 24, organizers said.

"One of the goals of the Ed Paschke Art Center is to support the careers of Chicago artists by providing them with a space to not just exhibit their work, but to engage with our community," said Vesna K. Stelcer, chair of the Ed Paschke Foundation.

Austin, an interdisciplinary artist, educator and musician, is the deputy director of the Chicago Perch and is a teaching artist with Marwen.

Dithrich sculpts in wood and textile. Her work has been exhibited at the Hyde Park Arts Center and the Chicago Artists Coalition.
