HUMBOLDT PARK — A woman and a man were shot about a mile away from each other in the Humboldt Park neighborhood early Monday morning, police said.

Most recently, at 5:16 a.m., a 20-year-old woman was shot in her chest in a possible drive-by in the 800 block of North Kostner Avenue, according to Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

Police could not immediately provide any other information on the shooting, or the woman's condition.

About two hours earlier, Pacheco said, a 29-year-old man was sitting in the back seat of an SUV driving southbound in the 1200 block of North Homan Avenue when someone pulled alongside him in a black sedan and fired shots.

The man was driven to Norwegian Hospital with a graze wound in his back, Pacheco said. Police could not provide the man's condition but said he was stable.

No one is in custody for either shooting, Pacheco said.
