DOWNTOWN — A half-floor penthouse near the top of the Trump International Hotel & Tower is secretly available for $13 million, an asking price that would make the condominium the second most expensive for sale in the city.

Broker Chezi Rafaeli of Coldwell Banker shared photos of the high-rise penthouse, which is not available on the public multiple listing service, to clients via email Friday afternoon. The four-bedroom, 6,850-square-foot condo includes 5½ bathrooms, custom 16-foot-tall ceilings, and floor-to-ceiling city views to the north, south, east and west.

"From the moment you enter the dramatic foyer, it is clear this penthouse is a one of a kind," wrote Rafaeli, who did not return messages seeking comment.

The email does not say where the condominium is in the tower, a 92-story riverfront high-rise at 401 N. Wabash Ave, and the seller's identity could not be determined. The building's four half-floor penthouses start on the 87th floor, according to the Trump Tower website, though it's possible the seller bought and combined multiple condos slightly lower in the building.

Trump Tower has drawn attention for its sign and firebrand namesake developer, but also sales from some of the most famous people living in Chicago. Notable residents include Chicago Bulls star Derrick Rose, Chicago Blackhawks star Patrick Kane and comedian Steve Harvey. The 14,000-square-foot penthouse on the tower's 89th floor sold for $17 million in 2014

Reporter David Matthews talks about penthouse living.

If publicly listed, this half-floor Trump condo would be the second most expensive high-rise home for sale in the city, trailing just a $13.5 million, two-floor unit in an exclusive building cooperative on Lake Shore Drive. A three-floor penthouse off Michigan Avenue owned by actor Vince Vaughn is currently off the market after being most recently listed for $13.9 million

The last Chicago home to sell for at least $13 million was a seven-bedroom Lincoln Park mansion that fetched more than $13.3 million in December
