2 Men Charged After Firing Guns in Grant Park, Police Say

CHICAGO — Two men were arrested and charged after allegedly firing guns in Grant Park Saturday afternoon, police said.

Around 2 p.m., David Calvin, 20, and Kevin Billingslea, 27, were arrested after fleeing from an area where gunshots were heard, according to a Monday news release.

Police said the incident occurred in the 200 block of Balbo Avenue, near Columbus Avenue in Grant Park.

Officers found a gun and shell casings in their car, police said.

The men are due to appear in bond court Monday, where they will each face one felony count of aggravated discharge of a firearm, police said.
