BRIDGEPORT — For $6, Bridgeport artist Annette Nowacki will turn your plain, white sneakers into works of art.
Her shoe project began after she bought a pair of white canvas shoes super cheap from Old Navy and painted sunflowers on them with acrylic paint.
"If they didn't turn out, it wouldn't be that much of a loss,” said Nowacki, who plays keyboards and sings in a rock band, The Flips.
