BRIDGEPORT — Bernice's Tavern will host a water drive Monday to help the folks suffering from the lead contamination crisis in Flint, Mich.
The neighborhood bar at 3238 S. Halsted St. will collect cash donations and unopened cases of water from 3 p.m.-2 a.m.
The water will be delivered to Flint next week.
For the past two years, the ongoing water crisis has forced many Flint residents to drink tap water contaminated with lead.
