RIVER NORTH — A four-bedroom River North penthouse is set to hit the market at about $5.4 million, a price that will buy you dual walk-in closets that look about as big as many homes.

The 18th-floor, 6,800-square-foot condominium at 400 W. Ontario St. will formally hit the market Monday, said Jeff Lowe of Berkshire Hathaway KoenigRubloff HomeServices, who is handling the sale. Now the fifth-most-expensive home for sale in River North, the condo features floor-to-ceiling windows throughout, a wraparound terrace, and the aforementioned closets, including one with its own coffee bar.

Cook County property records show a Los Angeles-based limited liability company paid $2 million for the condo in a foreclosure sale last year. Lowe said his client completely renovated the home afterward. The condo is owned by investment firm Republic Investment, according to Crain's, which first reported the listing was hitting the market.

The home's other features include a custom walnut kitchen, a master bath with skyline views and Turkish mosaic tile, two indoor parking spaces and a private elevator entrance.
