Humboldt Park Teen Shot In His Head Sunday Has Died

CHICAGO — A West Humboldt Park man shot in the neighborhood Sunday has died from his injuries, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.

Marvelle Arnold, 18, was in the 3500 block of West Lexington Street at 6:40 a.m. Sunday when he was found by police with a gunshot wound in his head, police said.

Arnold, of the 4200 block of West Haddon Avenue, was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition. He died just before 5 p.m. on Monday.
