LOGAN SQUARE — Another Logan Square bar has made another list of top bars in the country.
The time it's Scofflaw, which was deemed the best bar in Illinois by Foursquare.
Foursquare, an app that previously focused on users checking into places they visit, such as bars, has since shifted its focus beyond checking in to personalized recommendations, reviews and more.
Foursquare chose Scofflaw, 3201 W. Armitage Ave., as Illinois' top bar by crunching data including tips, likes and visits from its users and gave the bar a 9.5 rating.
The company released its list ahead of St. Patrick's Day and claims Scofflaw is the "perfect place to channel your inner Irish" on Thursday.
Foursquare released an interactive state-by-state list of the country's most popular bars at foursquare.com.
The ranking atop the list follows another neighborhood spot Lost Lake, which was named the Best Cocktail Bar in America by Imbibe magazine in December.
