BRIDGEPORT — Looking for an Irish Pub for a celebratory beer on St. Paddy's Day?

There are a few of them you might want to consider in the 11th Ward. Here's a look at some joints with Irish roots:

Shinnick's Pub, 3758 S. Union

Open since 1938, the neighborhood tavern is seven blocks from U.S. Cellular Field.

Kelly's Tavern, 4403 S. Wallace

This old school Canaryville bar is a place where you'll find fans of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish — and St. Paddy's Day cheers.

Cork & Kerry At The Park, 3258 S. Princeton

Usually a pre- and post-Sox game partying spot, this Irish pub serves all you need to have a great St. Paddy's Day: Sandwiches, wings, burgers — and beer.
