SOUTH SHORE — A 23-year-old man was found fatally wounded on the Southeast Side late Tuesday night, police said.

Just after 11 p.m., police responded to a call of shots fired in the 2300 block of East 70th Place, where they found the man lying on the sidewalk with multiple gunshot wounds, according to Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The man was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Estrada said.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office identified the man as Antoine Crowder, of the 8600 block of South Lowe Avenue.
