AUBURN GRESHAM — A 14-year-old boy was wounded in a drive-by shooting on the South Side Tuesday night, police said.

Around 10 p.m., the boy was walking in the 7500 block of South May Avenue when someone shot at him out of a passing silver sedan, according to Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The boy was taken to Comer Children's Hospital, Estrada said, where his condition stabilized after he was treated for a gunshot wound in his left thigh and a graze wound in his right thigh.

No one is in custody, Estrada said.
