AVONDALE — It's been the scene of photo shoots for Second City Touring Company and McDonald's, and now it's the home of a spring fashion pop-up.

Coyle and Herr, a furniture consignment warehouse in Avondale, will bring spring designs from Moonfish to its loft space starting Monday.

But to get the first look at the handbags, jewelry and accessories, you've got to get on the list.

Shoppers can book appointments online to see the collection before it goes public Friday at Coyle and Herr, 3031 N. Rockwell St. The show will be open from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday-Sunday.

It's not the first time Coyle and Herr has hosted a pop-up, co-founder Mary Beth Herr said.

"We enjoy partnering with local businesses, especially those that promote accessibility and sustainability," Herr said. "Our space allows us to effectively stage and showcase everything from furniture to fashion."

Luxury Garage Sale and Eye Spy Optical have also set up temporarily in the warehouse.

Moonfish features "pieces that are functional, eye-catching and unique," founder Sarah Kotek said. Without rent to pay, Moonfish can offer trendy accessories and apparel at lower prices. Moonfish will donate a portion of sales to local schools and World Bicycle Relief.

Moonfish has shared previews of its spring season on Instagram, showing off reversible totes, ponchos, silk scarves and jewelry.

Coyle and Herr opened in 2011 before moving to its 8,400 square-foot warehouse near Paul Levy's developing Rockwell complex that hosts Metropolis Roastery. Construction continues at the complex, including an outdoor event space and a planned expansion of Metropolitan Brewing.
