CHICAGO — A 17-year-old was shot and injured in Uptown in Friday, police said.
At 2:08 p.m., the teen was in the 4600 block of North Magnolia Avenue when he was shot in his leg, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
The teen was "stable" at Illinois Masonic Hospital, Sedevic said, though police did not know his condition. No further information was immediately available.
